Central Processing Officers Ministry of Social Development location Wellington.
We have opportunities for Central Processing Officers to join our processing team, fixed term until June 2022. These opportunities will be based from Lower Hutt and Willis Street centres.
About the role as a Central Processing Officer you have an important role to play. Every action you take impacts New Zealanders lives. Our team is responsible for delivering an end to end service that incorporates the assessment, processing and review of client information and applications. We provide essential financial assistance and support for clients and their families, including any necessary engagement with clients and stakeholders.
We aim to deliver quality service to our clients so that they have a positive experience every time they engage with MSD. In addition to the processing work, we are responsible for answering the phone, making outbound calls as required and responding to email queries from various stakeholders.
Hours the central processing officer role is 37.55 hours per week across rostered shifts with varying start times between the hours of 6.55am and 10.00pm Monday to Friday. The current hours of operation are 7.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.
