Catering Demi CDP or Chef-De-Partie location Farrer Park / Serangoon Rd, Central. Job Type Full-Time.
Working Days 6-day week rotating rostered shift (timing based on event), Working hours 44 Hours ( OT will paid), Salary range $2,300 - $2,500, location Near to Boon Keng / Bendemeer / Fareer Park MRT.
Responsibilities ordering of stock, Doing basic food cost calculation, Planning of staff rosters. Able to be a team lead at events o Checking to ensure all items are brought o Briefing the team-on-duty o Liaising with logistics personnel on departure/pickup timing. Able to assist Head Chef in food preparation and cooking of items for events catering jobs.
Able to understand menus and recipes and implement SOPs set out by Head Chef to ensure food consistency. Able to train younger cooks/chefs to assist at events for buffet table setups, laying out of food, live station duties, and making canapés. Daily mise-en-place, Dishwashing duties, Washing up and mopping of kitchen to keep it clean in accordance to regulations. He/she will also be assisting with logistics and packing for catering jobs now-and-then.
Requirement must have at least 3 years of relevant kitchen experience. Possessing of a Class 3 driving licence a plus. Must have valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
