About the role we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants for our Jindera site. We are seeking people to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by providing and maintaining a high standard of catering and dining services within the facility.

Primary Objectives will include but are not limited to participating in food preparation and beverage service. Assisting Chef with required preparation and presentation of food items. Maintaining and promoting clean and hygienic work practices.

To be successful in the role you will be previous experience in a similar kitchen environment. Food Handlers Certificate (desirable). Experienced in planning, preparation and cooking fresh meals. Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level.

Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level. Excellent organisational and communication skills and ability to multi-task. Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.

You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills which enable you to prioritise tight work schedules. Passionate about providing quality care to our residents.
