Casual Retail Assistant Private Advertiser location Gold Coast. Salary $20 - $29.99 per hour. Garden Store at Bundall requiring staff to work between 16-24 hours a week.  Applicant will be expected to be able to work 2 x 8 hour weekdays and then some weekend work.  If applicant is a student and can only do 1 weekday when uni/college starts back up, then we can change to 1 weekday and some weekend work next year, but that is a minimum, you would definitely need to be able to work 1 full weekday 9-5.  There is a lot of heavy lifting so applicant must be fit and healthy.  Experience is not necessary but a good happy attitude and outgoing personality is a must.  You must be pro-active and be able to demonstrate in the job interview times in your career or schooling when you have displayed this.  Applicant must be prepared to work hard or you're wasting both our time as there is a lot of training involved.   This is not just a sales job, the successful applicant would be expected to do a lot of cleaning and maintaining of the store.  We expect all our employees to express a genuine interest in the store and contribute to the stores growth and improvement.  If you just want to show up for a paycheck this is the wrong job for you.  Also an interest in plants and gardening is a bonus. This is a happy, positive place of business so applicant must be able to get on with people and a good sense humour would be a welcome asset.
