As the Case Planning and Assessment Manager at Clarence Correctional Centre, you’ll lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality case management, sentence administration and inmate employment services. You’ll play a key role in supporting rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes while ensuring compliance, safety and operational excellence. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll help create a respectful, inclusive and secure environment for staff, inmates and visitors.
About Clarence Correctional Centre
Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional Centre in Australia.
Located on the beautiful NSW North Coast approximately 6 hours’ drive from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, our region offers rainforests, epic headlands, sand dunes and some of the best Australian beaches, along with a variety of multicultural cafes, restaurants and friendly community towns.
As a Case Planning and Assessment Manager in the Inmate Services team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
Leading high-quality case management and sentence administration services
Coordinating classification, placement and case planning processes
Managing inmate employment programs aligned to rehabilitation goals
Guiding and developing Team Leaders to achieve strong performance outcomes
Monitoring compliance with legislative, policy and KPI requirements
Strengthening partnerships with Corrective Services NSW and community stakeholders

A degree in Criminology, Psychology, Social Work or a related field
Experience leading teams within a correctional or human services setting
Experience in the administration of sentences in a correctional environment
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs
