Your Next Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Caretaker to join our team at our Phillip Island Holidays site.
Reporting to the Park Manager, the Caretaker is responsible for delivering support and services to residents and guests outside of standard business hours, including overnight and on weekends, when staffing levels are reduced.
This role is based at our Phillip Island Park, a popular coastal destination known for its stunning beaches and wildlife.

In this Role, You’ll
Deliver exceptional guest services by greeting and checking in/out guests, handling reservations and payments, and responding to inquiries and reasonable requests.
Support daily site operations including coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, managing room readiness, and maintaining accurate guest records using computer systems.
Maintain site cleanliness and safety through cleaning cabins and amenities, locking up facilities, and conducting routine checks to ensure compliance with park rules.
Provide after-hours support by attending to guest needs, resolving issues like noise complaints or equipment faults, and performing overnight stays when required.
Contribute to community engagement by assisting with kids’ activities, park entertainment, and promoting additional services, events, and premium offerings to guests.

Bring relevant qualifications and technical skills, including a current First Aid Certificate, National Police Check, Fire and Emergency Evacuation Accreditation, and strong computer literacy.
Demonstrate strong personal attributes, such as excellent communication and customer service skills, confidentiality, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and make confident decisions.
Are physically capable and hands-on, with the ability to assist with cleaning, maintenance, and site operations, including occasional lifting, equipment use, and frequent walking around the site.
