RecruitFirst is hiring 1 Year Contract Hospital Basic Care Assistants location Central West (Hospital), Pay $10/hour, Commitment Period 1 Year. Working Hours (Choose Part-Time/Full-Time) Part-Time Mon-Fri, 4 hours a day, Min. 25 hours a week, 8am to 12pm or 5pm to 9pm, cannot choose, Full-Time: Mon-Fri, 8 hours a day, Max. 42 hours a week, 8am to 5pm.

Job duties assists the Nurses in providing basic care for patients changes bed linen and makes up beds. Dresses and assists with personal hygiene of patients. Gives and removes bedpans and urinals for patients. Attends to skin care of helpless or immobile patients with stable conditions. Assists with lifting, moving and transporting patients. Serves diet/removes meal trays. Assists patients with good swallowing reflexes and able to drink and eat normally. Assists Registered Nurses/Enrolled Nurses to observe general condition of patients and reports observations (usual and unusual) to the nurse-in-charge.

Requirements minimum PSLE or WPLN. Must have passion & heart to serve patients sincerely. Must be ok do hands-on eg. to clean up patients, bring them to toilets, feed them etc. Good to have experience taking care of ill family member before - please indicate if you have experience. Must be comfortable to work in a hospital ward setting in accordance to applying for this job. Must be able to commit 1 Year fully.
