Canline Operator and Engineer New Ground Coffee location Auckland. $70,000 – $90,000 per year.
About the role the Canline operator and engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production at New Ground. This includes overseeing Inward goods, blending, logistic management, thermal processing, documentation, Maintenance scheduling and upholding the highest standards for quality control throughout the process.
Key tasks can Line Operation and engineer oversee the production process, ensuring smooth operations from input goods to finished products. Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality control throughout the production process. Report to the Operations Manager to plan and schedule production activities.
Manage a team of production staff, ensuring that they are trained and have the necessary resources to carry out their duties. Collaborate with other departments such as sales and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
Documentation and compliance ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and on time. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to food safety, environmental, and health and safety standards. Ensure the work environment is safe. Manage equipment servicing and maintenance.
Continuous innovation identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Continuously review and update standard operating procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
Qualifications at least 5 years of experience in a production management role in the food and beverage industry. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and identify trends. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements. Mechanical skills with the ability to maintain and remedy problems on process equipment. Forklift license.
