Campus Facilities Manager Uniting Care NSW ACT location Sydney. An exciting brand new greenfield opportunity exists for an experienced and driven hands-on 'roll your sleeves up' Campus Manager. When completed, the redevelopment of Uniting Westmead will feature 217 retirement living apartments (with 70 available in Stage 1) and 114-bed aged care home, both designed with the latest thinking in aged care in mind. In addition, the campus will feature a children's early learning centre, café, library a seniors' gym, salon, and consulting rooms for health professionals. The role as campus manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front and creating an exceptional culture of customer service across the campus facility. Most importantly, this role will be responsible for the delivery of exceptional outcomes and service for all of the Uniting Westmead residents. As an individual you are keen to use your initiative and nous, to be experimental in finding and implementing creative solutions to achieve the best possible outcomes – always. Essentially you will be responsible for the management of common areas, facilities, assets, and asset management strategy. Managing leases, licences, and contracts such as catering, laundry, transport to name but a few. About you as this is a leadership role, 8+ years experience in a business management role (Ideally retirement industry experience or a related industry such as hotel, shopping centre or broad level property management). Budget development and financial management. Superb written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong negotiation skills. Exceptionally strong commercial dealings and proven experience in business development, and sales experience. Knowledge of residential sales and leasing contracts would be ideal. Have the ability to convey information clearly and confidently with an ability to influence, negotiate and resolve disputes.
