Opportunity join our team as a Business Support Officer, dedicated to assisting the team in meetings its ongoing internal Line 1 operational responsibilities and providing crucial support to various business unit functions.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be working with key stakeholders, including the Head of Client Supervision and the Operations Manager, to effectively manage business unit priorities.

Establish and nurture relationships with teams across TE, including risk and compliance, internal audit, people and culture, and finance. Be a vital part of our dynamic team and contribute to the success of Trustees Executors Limited.

The core responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to collaborate with team members to ensure TCS's policies, procedures, and controls align with statutes and industry guidelines, overseeing maintenance and development of the TCS policy, procedures, and controls registers.

Oversee the coordination and production of board papers for bi-monthly meetings. Collaborate with team members and TE stakeholders to ensure TCS compliance with regulatory obligations and timely adherence to internal and external deadlines. Coordinate with TCS staff to meet any internal and external reporting obligations.

Efficiently manage document execution, coordinate TCS signatory list changes, and provide processing support for finance receivables. Oversee breaches, incident and complaints registers and assist in bank account setups.

Supervise the enhancement of new staff induction materials in collaboration with reporting managers. Manage training framework, logs, and contribute to in-house training sessions, maintaining an organised library on SharePoint issued by the Regulators.

We're excited to see what you'll bring to the table. Tertiary degree, ideally in accounting, finance, commerce or law. At least two-three years’ experience within the financial services industry or a similar environment. An understanding of the regulatory environment under the Financial Markets Conduct Act and its regulations would be beneficial.

Experience in, or exposure to, operational processes, governance, or risk and compliance would be preferable and an advantage. A commitment to upholding ethical and transparent behaviour. Proactive communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with people at all levels within an organisation for effective results.

Marketing experience or exposure is a plus and highly preferred. Being a team player with the ability to support and work across teams in support of workload management. Good time management skills. A focus on continuous process improvement.

Self-initiative to improve knowledge and skills. Sound computer skills, especially with Excel and other MS Office applications. Self-starter with sound judgement and application of policies. Flexibility willingness to look at new and different ways to improve processes, efficiencies and productivity.
