About the role an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Coordinator with the Auckland Policy Office. Working in a dynamic and changing environment, you will be supporting key business functions within the office. No two days are the same, so if you are looking for a fast paced role that will keep you on your toes, read on.

This is a key, dynamic role in a unique environment and is first point of contact for a large number of stakeholders, providing high level, quality administrative, operational and customer service support in NZ's largest multiagency collocated office. The roles service a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, Chief Executives and senior officials, cross-agency visitors, the PM, Ministers and their staff, and staff of the APO. The role requires the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

Provide proactive efficient complex co-ordination working across multiple agencies, using sound judgement, and the flexibility to adapt to constant change, responding to the increasing demand of a growing office environment of approximately 140 people. Work closely with the other members of the Business Support team.

Remain calm and professional under pressure. Maintain a high level of critical attention to detail. Communicate information clearly, both orally and written, in a manner and style appropriate to the intended audience. Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and manage sensitive information. Actively support activities and demonstrate values that enhance the development of positive culture in an environment consisting of different agency cultures.

Skills and experience required government administration experience highly desirable. Experienced in the use of Outlook calendars to manage high volume meeting and event co-ordination. Experience in finance functions - coding, checking and processing invoices. Proven ability in Microsoft 365 software applications.

Wide ranging knowledge and experience in providing quality responsive administration support. Previous experience in roles requiring stakeholder management and influencing. Strong attention to detail. Analytical and critical thinking skills.
