About the role this is a hands-on role and you'll need to roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in our industry, understand our products, our Members; and our competitors to ensure your success. Working with the rest of the Business Development team, you will help develop, design and implement the state business plan to continuously improve our member experience and grow our member base.

The key to this role is developing strong trusted relationships with existing Members and other key internal and external stakeholders, colleges and associations to maintain our current membership and attract new members. You'll be travelling on a regular basis, mostly within NSW but occasionally interstate to assist your colleagues. You will also need to attend events and functions as required including some evenings and weekends.

Familiarity with medical indemnity, the medical industry or the general insurance industry is desirable but not essential.  However, you must have a genuine interest in our organisation and the work we do.
