THE OPPORTUNITY

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Development Manager based in Fyshwick. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Trade team - reporting to the Branch Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of our Trade Sales team, you will be the key point of contact across the region between Stratco and our customers. This will involve:

Maintaining and developing relationships with all assigned customers
Identifying and developing new customers and confident in cold calling
Focus on growth of sales
Identifying new product and market opportunities
Liaising with the operations team to improve product design and customer service
Preparing project quotations and sales proposals
Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

A proven sales track record, preferably in the building industry
Be action oriented and able to effectively communicate at all levels
Be a hands on, self-driven and practical person with a good technical ability
Have the ability to work in a team environment
Have excellent business building and prospecting skills
Estimating experience would be highly valued
The ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
