The role:

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager with proven expertise in Building Management Systems (BMS) to spearhead growth in the Data Centre and Hospitality markets, with a strategic focus on major infrastructure developments leading up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

This role will be pivotal in identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning our BMS solutions as the preferred choice for energy efficiency, smart building technologies, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a business growth strategy

Identify upcoming projects, tenders, and partnerships

Build a competitive intelligence network to track market trends

Meet and exceed sales targets for BMS and related solutions

Develop tailored proposals, quotations, and presentations for key decision-makers

Establish strong relationships with developers, consultants, facility managers, and key stakeholders

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BMS technologies, integration with IoT, sustainability frameworks, and energy optimisation systems

Collaborate with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure commercially viable

Requirements:

Experience in sales or business development within Building Automation, HVAC controls, or related smart building technologies

Proven track record of winning major projects

Strong understanding of BMS systems

Established network within Queensland’s construction and property development sectors

Experience with long sales cycles and high-value project negotiations.

Excellent understanding of the data centre market, procurement strategies and key stakeholders

Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach

Strong presentation and communication skills
