We are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our NSW team. This position is ideally suited to existing general insurance BDMs/Account managers however, applicants with relevant experience in the insurance services or similar are encouraged to apply. About the role reporting to the Regional Manager - Northern, you will be developing growth strategies of the business and brand in nsw, creating & ensuring industry leading client experiences, researching new business opportunities, preparing and conducting professional presentations, liaising with staff, customers, industry associates and insurance intermediaries to ensure new business opportunities are identified and followed through to completion, assisting in developing our ‘go to market’ structures and frameworks. About you 2 – 5 years business development experience in a general insurance services environment, previous experience selling through insurance brokers/ referral partners is extremely beneficial, a history of assisting insurance intermediaries to grow their business, adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards, effective time management & organisational skills, ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, tertiary, anziif or niba education is well regarded.
