About the role an exciting new opportunity exists to join the Group Business Management team in the Strategy, Performance and Design branch of Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Group. As the Business Coordinator you will be responsible for providing confidential, efficient and effective support to the Group Business Director, Team Leader Ministerial Services, and the wider Group Business Management team and Strategy, Performance and Design branch, to ensure they can effectively perform their roles and efficiently use their time to help deliver Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery Group and MBIE's outcomes.

Skills and experience required experience in providing personal and administrative support to managers and teams. Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. Knowledge of administration systems including diary management and experience with the Microsoft Office suite. Great communication skills with sound judgement and discretion. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and manage sensitive information. An interest in the machinery of government and the New Zealand political landscape.
