Bookkeeper or Administration Officer Private Advertiser location Sydney.

Our client operates a very successful B2C business operating from the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and is seeking an experienced bookkeeper & administration officer to join the team. The successful candidate will report to the owners of the business & will assist in ensuring the office runs smoothly. The company imports high value goods predominately from Europe and also sells locally sourced products.

Key duties of this role include fortnightly Payroll, Invoicing, BAS preparation & lodgement in consultation with Tax accountant. Accounts payable & receivable. Account reconciliations and follow up of debtors. Office Filing and Banking. Liaising with Overseas suppliers re orders. Managing Foreign currency transactions.

We are seeking a candidate who has significant bookkeeping experience including managing goods importation and foreign currency transactions. High level of Proficiency in MYOB. MS Office – intermediate to advanced. Good verbal and written communication skills. Common sense and a willingness to apply it to all situations. Ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a capacity to multitask.

Hours this is a permanent part time position  comprising 24 hours per week – spread over 4 days, Monday – Thursday 9.30am -3.30am  or similar, of which one day could be work ing from home (this position would  suit a person looking to work school hours only).
