About the Client has a number of different businesses ranging from Security companies to Property Development companies, located in Victoria and NSW.

The position working directly under instructions from our client as well as the external accountants. This position involves working from the offices of the external accountants, such that you will be directly reporting to a fully qualified accountant at all times. Liaising with various CEO's / Directors of a number of entities that are owned and controlled by our client. Preparing reports to the owner. We place high importance on accuracy as well as meeting certain timelines.

The successful candidate will have appropriate bookkeeping qualifications, with minimum of 5 years’ experience. Have sound knowledge of business structures, as well as the ATO Law and compliance requirements. Be able to prepare the complete set of Financial Statements. Be experienced with use of Xero Accounting Software. Be able to complete BAS' and IAS'. Have accounts payable, receivable and invoicing skills.

Be able to process payroll and superannuation. Be able to reconcile and process credit cards transactions. Be able to undertake bank reconciliations. Be able to reconcile inter-entity loan accounts. Assist with adhoc duties and have good written and verbal communication skills. The location will be at the office premises of the external accountants, located immediately next door to Wynyard Station on Clarence St, Sydney CBD.
