About the opportunities we have exciting opportunities for Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our professional team based in the Blacktown LGA in NSW. These are Full-time or Part-time positions with days/times worked flexible to suit your requirements. Growing Early Minds operates Monday to Saturday.

Reporting to the Practice Lead these roles are busy but rewarding, offering loads of variety in your client base and the way you practice. Working predominantly with young children up to 16 years of age, your duties will include assessments, therapy services, consultancy and practical support for Early Childhood Educators and Teachers. You will also liaise with parents/care givers offering training and skills development services relevant to the type of care required.

About you to be considered for a position you will hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Behaviour Support or Special Education and all relevant registrations within your field. You will need to have demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of paediatrics, and an ability to undertake behavioural and other clinical assessments with children with a disability and challenging behaviours. Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role within the NDIS space.

Strong time-management skills and the ability to manage your own workflow without supervision, including the scheduling/rescheduling of appointments and maintaining regular communication with your client base will be critical to your success with us.

Please note: Prior to commencement, you would need a current Working with Children Check, a current open Driver's Licence and your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance cover, as well as completing the NDIS Worker Orientation module 'Quality, Safety, and You’.
