Who we are Old Love’s a small rum focused bar on Clarence Street Sydney. We are sounded by some of Sydney’s best bars in the busy CBD only a short walk from the QVB. We are located in the basement of 199 Clarence street and share the same roof as our older bar Old Mate’s Place.

After taking home the award for Rum Bar of the Year recently we are on the lookout for some like minded people to join the team. We love talking all things rum and providing a fun and safe experience for customers and staff alike.

The role old Love’s is on the hunt for new Rum nerds. We are on the search for charismatic, enthusiastic, and driven bartenders to join the family.  We pride ourselves on our work and providing a customer experience without any pretentiousness.

We understand our customer is of high priority and want to ensure that from service, to food and drinks, we are providing an experience where every guest walks away wanting to come back again. We are searching for someone who wants to provide the same level of service we strive for. Someone that has 3 years experience in a cocktail bar.

You will be motivated and ambitious in the way you work. We want people with a positive attitude towards work. Be able to build and provide a world class customer experience. We want people to have a genuine love for hospitality. Love’s rum and everything about it; from production to drinking.

The ability to make guests feel welcome, special and want to come back. Previous work in rum bars or bars with a rum focus not essential but preferred. All round good human.
