Re.Group is an Australian owned company focusing on providing high quality solutions for recycling and recovering resources from Waste. We have a vision for a wasteless society, where all resources that become waste are reused and are not disposed. We currently have multiple roles available in our Mackay Material Recycling Facility (MRF) as Recycling Hands and Baler Operators. These positions are within the Re.Cycle entity that processes kerbside recyclables from the ‘yellow bin’, as well as commercial recyclables.

Recycling Hand / Sorter / Labourer sort recyclable materials and contaminates from a conveyor belt. Remove other waste so it does not damage plant equipment or the product. Check materials and sort into designated areas by type, size, condition, or colour. Report system problems immediately to management.

Baler operator using the baler to safely move materials between storage areas and vehicles. Use the machinery to compress product into compact bales that are easy to handle, transport and store. Ensure safe unloading and loading of inventory.  Assisting with general recycling hand and cleaning duties when required. Must have experience as a Ticketed Forklift Operator.

Requirements you must be reliable and hardworking. Experience as a process worker/sorter on a fast-paced production/conveyor line is desirable. Able to work in a repetitive role and perform manual duties.
