About the Role
Are you passionate about driving international student recruitment and building global partnerships? The University is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Associate Director, International Recruitment to lead our international student recruitment efforts and ensure the achievement of ambitious recruitment and revenue targets for our Melbourne campuses.

In this key leadership role, reporting to the Director, International Recruitment and Admissions, you will take charge of developing and executing the University’s annual international student recruitment plan. Your strategic oversight will play a critical role in driving the University’s growth by expanding its global reach and attracting talented international students.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the international student recruitment function to meet and exceed agreed targets for new student enrolments and revenue generation.
Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the annual international student recruitment plan to ensure its effectiveness and alignment with the University's goals.
Oversee agent management activities, ensuring our global agent network is well-equipped to represent the University effectively. This includes the development and delivery of training programs both offshore and in Australia, as well as hosting familiarisation events.
Provide operational leadership to the University’s recruitment-focused in-country representatives, ensuring smooth operations, effective delivery of annual work plans, and ongoing representative training.
Collaborate closely with the Associate Director, International Admissions to maintain best practices in admissions, reducing risk and ensuring contemporary, effective processes.
Partner with the Associate Director, Channel Performance and Market Insights to monitor recruitment performance, identify new opportunities, and provide strategic support for planning activities.

We are looking for a proactive and strategic leader with a deep understanding of international student recruitment. You bring experience in managing global teams, building successful agent networks, and leading international recruitment strategies. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working across departments to achieve common goals and ensure the University remains competitive in the international education market.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Proven strategic, analytical, and conceptual skills with the ability to structure and convert strategies into compelling and achievable work programs.
Demonstrated success in leading a high-performing international recruitment team.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies related to growing international student demand.
Proven ability to exercise initiative and high-level judgement in a highly competitive and continually changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial, human, physical and technology resources to achieve strategic and operational goals.

Qualifications
A relevant postgraduate qualification in business marketing or sales management and extensive relevant experience in providing advice to senior management, and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
