Key Responsibilities
Assisting on leading complex multi-jurisdictional cross-border M&A and Private Equity transactions
Coordinating the various groups working on a project and ensuring that they are all on schedule, understanding and disseminating transactional information
Liaising with clients and stakeholders
Involvement in due diligence – analysis of agreements and their subsequent description
Working with local counsels in various jurisdictions
Drafting and reviewing legal and technical documentation
Managing more junior associates and graduates on transactions
The skills and attributes we are looking for
Admission in Australia, England & Wales or other Common Law jurisdiction qualification
PQE 5-7 years, currently at Senior Associate level
Good understanding of the key risks and issues involved in large transactions.
Experience of advising on numerous commercial contracts
Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when working across multiple deals
Excellent drafting skills
Client service focus and commercial awareness
Team player
Strong judgment
