Assistant Relationship Manager Suncorp location Sydney. The purpose of the Assistant Relationship Manager is to support the District & Relationship Manager to grow a portfolio of profitable customers in defined geographical markets in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth and opportunity targets. Suncorp Business Banking employs a 1:1 model of a dedicated Relationship Manager and Assistant Relationship Manager for each customer portfolio. Key responsibilities draft and assist to complete of credit proposals, extract and analyse financial statements, cash flow forecasts and other complex financial reports, providing accurate assessments, assist the relationship manager with miscellaneous administration of the client portfolio ensuring all documentation and customer files are maintained in accordance with suncorp’s policies and procedures, support improvement of the relevant customer service / customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolios, provide effective feedback to operational, segment and risk areas via district manager on issues that have an impact on that area of suncorp’s business, ability to identify an acceptable level of lending risk, in line with suncorp’s risk appetite statement, and to maximise profit from that transaction, support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with suncorp’s values. Skills & experience tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable, demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base, demonstrated experience in financial services, demonstrated experience as an assistant relationship manager or equivalent role in a commercial banking team will be highly regarded.
