Assistant Property Manager Private Advertiser location Sydney.

We are looking for someone with either experience within the real estate industry or just starting out. If successful you must have a high level of understanding in accounts, show attention to detail and have a proactive approach to all facets of work. This is an opportunity to work close to home and not commute into the city or other metropolitan areas.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to receipting of rent monies. Liaising with Contractors. Creating invoices, processing and following up payments. Keep AFSS Register for buildings. Arrange inspections with tenants and contractors, lodge with Council & Fire & Rescue NSW, display in buildings. Keep tenant bond register. Keep Insurance register for tenants. Ingoing / Outgoing property inspection reports.

Enter Leases into real estate software. Enter creditors invoices and reconcile accounts. Answering the phone. Follow up repair and maintenance issues. Assist with End of Month duties. End Of month report writing Charge individual monthly/quarterly outgoings eg water/ cleaning/council rates to tenants.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts, hold a current Certificate Of Registration. Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both oral and written format. Have experience in MYOB Systems. Demonstrate a high competence in Microsoft Word, Excel. Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly.

Possess a friendly, outgoing, pro-active, and flexible nature with a willingness to help within the office. Have an interest in the Property world with a desire to grow and develop within the business. Please note this is a full time, permanent position. Standard working hours are 9am- 5pm, Monday to Friday no weekends.
