We are currently hiring an Assistant Development Accountant based out of our Bond St, Sydney Head Office.
Reporting to the Development Finance Manager, this role will see you provide accounting and administrative support across Ingenia’s land lease development projects; meeting reporting deadlines, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities
Support sales and settlements by preparing settlement statements, recording deposits/refunds, calculating fortnightly commissions, and producing settlement forecast analysis
Assist with development finance operations including monthly journals, capex budget uploads in JDE, purchase order support, and budget reconciliations against feasibility models
Complete weekly bank reconciliations and prepare month‑end balance sheet reconciliations (deposits, inventory and other accounts as required)
Support financial reporting by preparing audit files, responding to audit queries, and assisting with investor reporting and verification
Work collaboratively across teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and comply with WHS policies and procedures
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
Previous experience in a similar role or industry, with exposure to JDE or a large ERP system preferred
Advanced Excel skills with solid Word and PowerPoint capability
Highly organised, detail‑driven and able to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines
Proactive, responsive team player with strong communication skills, who takes ownership and strives for continuous improvement
