About Us Position Promo is a promotional products and apparel distributor, specialising in branded corporate merchandise. We service some of Australia’s most well recognised brands and operate an industry-leading product, design and distribution model.
The role we are currently experiencing an exciting growth period and we are expanding our team to include an experienced Bookkeeper on a part time basis. This role will initially involve 10 to 15 hours per week (with flexible work hours) and has the opportunity to grow to additional hours and permanency, for the right candidate.
Tasks & responsibilities accounts payable Entering complex invoices into the system, ensuring all amounts have been appropriately authorised and create batch payments. Accounts receivable Receipting amounts as needed, Bank reconciliation, Basic financial reporting, Various administrative tasks, including responding to queries. Other duties as directed by the Accounts Manager.
What you'll need to succeed a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and good organisational skills are essential. A background in bookkeeping and knowledge of accounts payable/ receivable, payroll and reporting. Experience using Xero desirable. Efficient in your approach and effective prioritisation of tasks. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
