Assistant Accountant Hays Accountancy and Finance location Sydney. Salary $65000.

This progressive company is searching for a driven dynamic Assistant Accountant to progress with the company. The company has been growing year on year and wanting a passionate and driven individual to help drive the business. Your new role reporting directly to the Head of Finance the role will involve taking ownership of the Accounts process with key tasks involving full function Accounts Receivable.

Assisting with general administration tasks. Answering the phones and emails. Bank reconciliations. Applying customer receipts. Managing the expense reimbursement process. Entering accounts payable supplier invoices. Supplier statement reconciliations. Fortnightly supplier payment runs.

What you'll need to succeed you will have similar industry experience working within manufacturing/distribution. You will have a strong foundation within all transaction functions as well assisting with reports. You will have strong Excel skills and excellent communication skills. Preferably you will have the ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese and Ideally have exposure to the system SAP.
