Assistant Accountant Reo Group location Sydney.

Salary package $42 - $ 48 p/h plus Super. Role highlights an Australian leader in its practice and service to the community supporting the employment market and project developments.

Role overview as an Assistant Accountant you will be reporting to the Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for the reconciliations of accounts, month end and year end reports and addition adhoc requirements. Your highly regarded systems experience within XERO, Power BI and advance Excel will assist the team move forward to the direct and direction of the team and Company.

Responsibilities bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, assisting with month end - up to trial balance, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, lodgement to BAS and FBT, payroll processing, involvement in statutory requirements for the year end audit process, assist company secretary (CFO), ad hoc management reporting, invoicing across the company nationally - 200 - 300 invoices per month (the person who left wasn’t happy to do that).

Candidate profile you are an Experienced Assistant accountant and you enjoy constant development within your role, you have proven knowledge from end to end process within your expertise and able to influence internal stakeholders with insights of their business. You are a strong communicator, team player but also agile to changes and processes.
