This opportunity for an Assistant Accountant sits within a large listed organisation, who boast a well-established finance team, with a fantastic culture. They offer excellent career development, with mentorship programs, secondments and regular reviews.

This newly established Assistant Accountant role, will mostly involve assisting with month-end, bank recs, balance sheet recs, posting journals, maintaining the fixed-asset register, and supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc requests.

Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience working in a similarly large or listed company, who is part-qualified and hungry to kick-start their career. You will need to be an excellent communicator, with the confidence to deal with senior stakeholders and know when to say "no".
