The opportunity to ensure the smooth delivery of financial accounting functions for SVPHS within the philosophy, mission and values of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney.

Preparation and ongoing development of monthly, ad hoc and statutory financial reports to the St Vincent’s Health Australia’s (SVHA) Board and Committees, SVHA Group Executive, SVHA Private Hospitals Division Executive and the SVPHS Executive and managers.

Deliver timely, accurate and relevant financial records and reports for SVPHS and internal and external stakeholders. Provide professional financial services consistent with SVHA group-wide financial strategy.

The skills required are experience in the management accounting functions in a large, complex organization, excellent organizational, analytical and conceptual skills and demonstrated experience in compliance with financial policies, procedures and processes, across a decentralised organization, demonstrated experience in statutory reporting, cash flow management and fringe benefit tax, understanding of revenue development and management, high level communication and interpersonal skills, including liaison and negotiation with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrated experience in using computerised financial accounting systems.
