Assistant Accountant Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting Syd location Sydney. Salary $70,000 - $75,000 + Superannuation.

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team, liaising with numerous departments across Billings, Shared Services, Finance and administration. You will be responsible for revenue transactional functions, communicating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and management reporting as required.

The responsibilities processing the billings each month and liaising with manager to produce billings forecast, collection calls to follow up and recover company debts, focusing on aged (over 90 days), effectively managing debtors ledger and stakeholder relationships, assisting in project management responsibilities such as reviewing profitability, project reconciliations, setting up projects in system, recognise revenue in line with accounting standards and principles; including posting accounting entries and determining accruals, balance sheet reconciliations (particularly concerning WIP).

The successful applicant has a ‘can do’ attitude, keen, be tech savvy with accounting systems, excellent interpersonal skills, someone who can confidently liaise with members from various departments, takes initiative, can work autonomously, preferably from a professional services/law background.
