Assistant Accountant EK Recruitment Pty Ltd location Sydney. My client is a leading company in food distribution across Australia. Due to increased impact in market operations, driving sales and market share they are developing the scope of there finance team. This is a truly unique role that encompasses strong month end reporting and administration. The business prides itself on bringing the best out of people and developing careers for the future. The role is located in Homebush and will be reporting to the Finance manager.

Duties bank reconciliations, credit review and new customer account setup, liaise with debt collection agents, weekly reporting, assist with end of month, assist accounts receivable function (select customers), supplier statement reconciliations, accounts payable full function including payment run processing, inter company invoicing for shared costs, general office admin, continuous improvement and value add projects, any other ad-hoc duties as requested.

The candidates ability to work well independently and in a team environment, technical knowledge of accounting principles, strong communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, excellent oral and written presentation skills, ability to utilise software programs such as enterprise resource planning Systems (ERPS) and Microsoft Office.

Additional information Payrate $28-30ph depending on experience, 6am to 2pm, ASAP Start.
