Assistant Accountant Reo Group location Sydney, Southern Suburbs & Sutherland Shire. Salary $65 - 70k + Super 9 month FTC. Role benefit immediate start hit the ground running onsite parking provided supportive work environment may be a permanent opportunity. Role overview this assistant accountant will reporting to the accounting Manager and assist the Financial Accountant with weekly and month end operational reporting. You will be responsible for daily bank and general ledger reconciliations, plus assist with stock control and annual price reviews. You will run the end to end Accounts Receivables function, responsible for maintaining the debtors ledger, monthly invoicing, revenue recognition, and customer contract setup. On a daily basis this Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for telephonic collections from a portfolio that includes large organisations along with SME’s. You will be communicating with the global team so your phone manner and ability to communicate clearly will be pivotal to your success. This role will require you to hit the ground running, be self-motivated, able to work in an autonomous environment, be reliable and deadline driven. The Job as the assistant accountant you will be responsible for the following daily bank account reconciliation, monthly invoice processing production of accurate and efficient billings, general ledger reconciliation and review, stock control and price reviews, reviewing the sales ledger/aged debtors list for overdue accounts and chase debts when required, support month end reporting, including debtor ageing and kpi analysis, answering customer queries regarding disputed invoices and arranging the issuance of credit notes if necessary. Candidate profile you have worked in a multinational organisation as an assistant accountant and have strong billing experiece in a inventory environment (service/repair industry highly desirble). You are energetic and passionate about what you do, with an ability to quickly build relationships.
