Description

Assistant Accountant Hoban Recruitment location Melbourne. Our client requires an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Accountant to work within their finance team on monthly results and, forecasting, financial modeling, business administration, quality, operational risk identification and management. The activities of this position will support the overall objectives of the Finance Team as a whole. Work in beautiful offices located in the Eastern suburbs. Requirements & skills experience in project office coordination and general administration, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and meet deadlines, experience in coordinating project activity, excellent and proficient use of word, excel and powerpoint, analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to consider appropriate solutions, data management experience, delivery of project advice and ability to prepare reports/submissions, effective verbal and written communication skills. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and formulating reports of our client's financial performance against the budget, support risk processed and requirements to ensure operational risks are clearly identified, reported and managed, consultation with stakeholders to present monthly and ad hoc, reporting, support personnel with queries regarding compliance with relevant manuals, support with general budget enquiries, provide excel support, develop and maintain relationships with relevant departs internally and externally, we are seeking someone with an accounting/finance or commerce degree with a minimum of 3 years' recent relevant experience in a hands on accounting support role.
