An exciting permanent Assistant Accountant position is up for grabs and we’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively with our CFO to achieve top results. The duties will be varied and will include accounts receivable and payable, generating invoices, contractor’s payroll, staff payroll, banking and bank reconciliations, month end closing fixed asset register, prepayments, accruals, gl accounts reconciliations, processing credit card transactions, assisting with system implementation and improvement, liaising with clients and contractors regard to invoicing and payroll related matters, ad hoc client reporting and projects, assisting with operational related tasks. We’re looking for someone who has held a similar role within a professional Australian based company for ideally a 2-year minimum. You will gain hands on experience in all aspects of day to day accounting and will gain further exposure to other areas of accounting while acting as an integral part of our finance team. The person currently in this role has had great success with us over the last 5 years (having traveled with us on reward trips to the NSW ski fields and more recently Las Vegas. So we are looking for someone who has a long-term focus, passion for our business and a great character. You have exceptional communication skills, a vibrant personality, love working apart of a team, know how to step it up at peak times of the month and of course you are completely trustworthy and committed to making the customer experience exceptional.
