Assistant Accountant SB Recruitment Pty Ltd location Sydney. This impressive fashion brand started in the Sydney market close to 20 years ago and has numerous boutiques nationally, an online shopping experience like no other and sell their products via recognized department stores. Based in Alexandria, their Accounting Division is made up of supportive, dedicated and hardworking individuals. They are seeking to hire an Assistant Accountant on a temporary basis for 4-6 weeks. You will be working amongst friendly colleagues and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a nationally recognized brand. The job reporting through to the financial controller, you will be responsible for the following duties preparing daily cash flow, fixed assets management; including proposal and depreciation, organizing prepayment journals, managing reconciliation of invoices for payment; deposits paid and settlements, bank accruals, reconciling bank and clearing accounts, reconciling amex credit cards, reviewing expense accounts for prepayments & capex, reviewing capex accounts for treatment. You to be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas min. 3 years experience as an assistant accountant, strong bank reconciliations skills, strong accounts payable process knowledge, strong excel skills, experience working with netsuite is preferred but not necessary, experience working in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, strong written & verbal communication skills.
