Assistant Accountant Hays Accountancy and Finance location Sydney. Your new role will be amongst one of Sydney’s growing and leading education solutions provider who are passionate about helping students achieve their education goals. This company is located in the heart of Sydney CBD amongst a chic location featuring trendy outlets and cafes as well as near major public transport lines. You will be working along a cultured, resilient, supportive team that will allow you to flourish your end of month/assistant accounting skills. Your new role in this temporary role, you will be stand-alone supporting the finance manager with the following duties post 50+ journals per month, assist senior manager to review and reconcile gl accounts, manage monthly suppliers accruals, knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, prepare various monthly prepayment journals to ensure bs to p&l transfer in a timely basis, assist with budget forecasts, assist in preparation of year end audit files, payables accrual journals and reconciliations, managing accounting enquiries, maintaining relationships with external and internal stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed degree level qualification in accounting or similar degree, ability to communicate well and work within a team environment, excellent attention to detail, willingness and enthusiasm to learn, strong computer skills with intermediate knowledge of excel, self- motivated “can do” attitude.
