Assistant Accountant Sharp and Carter Finance and Accounting location Melbourne. About the Role reporting directly to the finance manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process, preparation and processing of adjusting journals, general ledger maintenance and trial balance, assistance with effective cash flow management, assist with statutory reporting process, work with finance team to identify and implement business process improvement, other ad hoc duties to support the team. Skills and experience the ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in an accounting or business background. You will have 2-3 years experience in a similar role and have completed or have aspirations to complete your CPA/CA. You will have exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and have good attention to detail. You will have aspirations to want to join a young, fun and dynamic finance team. It would be ideal for candidates to have a background in the retail industry. About the company our client is a market leading private healthcare business based in Melbourne's CBD. Due to a recent restructure, they are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team.
