Assistant Accountant Pattison and Walker location Melbourne. We have been engaged to recruit an Assistant Accountant for a market-leading FMCG manufacturing organisation based in the inner suburbs.  Revenue turnover is approximately $500m and this has been steadily growing over the past 10 years.  Our client is a diverse and innovative manufacturing organisation with several key business units contributing to its growth. The role to support the Financial Controller and Senior Financial Accountant with the financial accounting, internal and external reporting, banking, tax and compliance obligations of the business. Key responsibilities will include preparation of month end accruals, provisions and standard journals, balance sheet reconciliations, ensure the integrity of the general ledgers, maintain the fixed asset register, assist prepare the monthly financial performance reports to management and the board, compliance including bas and ias, bank reconciliations, ensure payments are made according to agreed trading terms, ad-hoc project work.
