Assistant Accountant AMPAC Debt Recovery location Sydney, CBD, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. We're a growing, successful company in the financial service sector with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. We seek for our Sydney Head Office an accounting graduate with a minimum of 2 years accounting and finance experience to support our accounting department while our Accountant is on maternity leave. The candidate we seek will have strong financial analysis and problem solving capabilities. High attention to detail and advanced level of Excel Skills are essential. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is a requirement. Fluency in Cantonese would be highly regarded. This role is an amazing opportunity for the right individual who has a keen desire to grow, although this role is for a 6-12 month term, this position offers the opportunity to gain valuable accounting knowledge, skills and experience which will enable you to advance your accounting career in future roles. In addition you will be rewarded with continuous learning from the Joint Managing Director. In 2019 the company embarked on a number of new growth initiatives which may provide permanent employment opportunities for the right candidate. This is a hands on position, reporting to the Joint Managing Director but under the day to day management of the company’s Finance & Accounting team. You will require a desire to learn and a willingness to contribute to the growth and success of the accounts team and the company. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of general ledger posting and bank reconciliations, on the job training will be provided to ensure the successful candidate is well equipped to handle this role. Duties and training will include the following finance administration, budget forecasts & month end reporting, cash-flow management, company secretarial duties, regulatory & statutory compliance, general business administration, in this role, you will become part of a successful management team where your views and opinions will be highly regarded and you will be proud of the contribution you make to the success of the company. Remuneration negotiable based on skills and experience.
