Assistant Accountant Australian Nursing Home Foundation location Sydney.

About the role provide support for general accounting & financial functions and ensuring that all transactions meet the required standards and deadline.
Main duties include but are not limited to maintenance of ERP system, including client/vendor detail records of receipts and filing systems. Processing high volume of transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Tracking invoices and follow up with queries. Ensuring correct allocation of costs to GL and cost center accounts.
Timely completion of monthly bank reconciliation. Exploring continuous improvement opportunities in the accounting system/processes. Assisting in the preparation of year-end audit schedules. Involvement in projects and ad hoc duties as required or as directed by the Finance Team Leader. Accounts All Rounder. Job rotation in the Finance Team and assist with general accounting functions.
Skills and Experience the successful candidates should possess the following essential relevant qualification in Finance/Commerce/Accounting. At least 1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and analyse information. Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines independently.
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player. Highly motivated and capable of keeping up in a fast-paced environment. Must be willing to participate in job rotation in the Finance Team.
Desirable fluency in English and Chinese. Familiarity with CareSystems. Membership or working towards membership of an accounting professional body. Residential and/or community aged care experience. Experience in government acquittal processes.
