The company this market leading, global FMCG/Distribution provides premium products to key retailers and Distribution networks within Australia. The role to start ASAP, this temp to permanent (2-3 months) position is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Accountant. This a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a global business and work with a highly supportive and high performing team.

The position suits a hungry, ambitious and technically astute Assistant Accountant who are looking to advance their career down the track. This busy and hands on/multi-faceted role will also require you to perform some reporting, G/L and accounting up to trial balance.

Your primary duties will comprise of fixed assets, Journals, Accruals, Assist with monthly management reports, G/L + B/S recs, P/L/Cash flow forecasting, Intercompany reconciliations, FBT processing. Bank and account reconciliations. Assist with end of month/year reporting. Other ad-hoc duties as required.

About you a team player and self-starter, you will be a highly competent part CPA/CA qualified Assistant Accountant. Ideally you will have minimum 3 + years’ industry experience across the main accounting functions in G/L Recs, Cash flow, fixed asset, and B/S Recs.

Preferably you will have had some exposure in multitasking across different accounts functions. The successful candidate will obtain the following attributes intermediate excel skills (vlook ups/pivot tables).
