The role involvement in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts and end of month reporting, ensuring that information is delivered in full and on time. Assist with cash management across the group. Review the allocation of expenditure periodically to ensure accuracy of the financial reporting.
Responsible for a portion of the end of month accrual process. Prepare and post journals. Review of weekly Accounts Payable batch payments prior to payment. Assist with statutory compliance activities (BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and Workers Compensation).
Assist with annual reporting activities (Audit, Financial Statements and Tax Returns). Calculating and reporting Key Performance Indicators. Involvement in the documentation of standard operating procedures. Assist with the administration of online banking users.
The right person should maintain a positive relationship with stakeholders in the business. Collaborate as part of a team environment. Provide a professional support service to all internal and external stakeholders in line with strategic goals. Promote a high level of enthusiasm and commitment.
High competency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams) is preferred. Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to learn and competently use a range of internal accounting and business IT systems. Qualifications and Licences. Bachelor Degree in Accounting (or equivalent). (Perfect entry level opportunity for a new grad) .
