The opportunity a unique opportunity currently exists for an experienced and energetic Assistant Accountant who can efficiently manage the finance activities ensuring integrity of date, reporting and assist in decision making. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of the finance team. Responsibilities include ensuring the reconciliation of accounts along with correct allocations of expenditure to cost centers. Accurate and timely month end activities. Bank Reconciliations. Inter company loan reconciliation. Fixed Assets. Preparation of weekly sales reports. Preparation and posting of monthly journal. Analysis of costs. Maintain registers for insurance and motor vehicles. High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Other duties as required.

A bit about you ideally you should have at least two years to three years’ experience with a degree in Accounting or equivalent and studying towards your CPA or CA. Advanced PC skills, familiar with ERP systems and Oracle NetSuite Advantage. You can successfully manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment and are able to apply good judgement whilst under pressure. The ability to meet tight deadlines. Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
