Due to an expansion in business operations, they are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. The Role reporting directly to the senior financial accountant your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to monthly general ledger account reconciliations/assisting with month end process, preparation and processing of adjusting journals, monthly fixed assets register and prepayments, assistance with effective cash flow management, preparation of and lodgement of monthly group bas, assistant during year end audit, preparation of annual statutory reporting, preparation of abs surveys, other ad hoc duties as required by group financial controller. The successful applicant the ideal candidate will have recently obtained tertiary qualifications in an accounting or business degree. You will have professional experience as well as basic knowledge of accounting standards. Candidates will have exceptional communication skills, with proven ability to demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.
