The role we’re on an incredible journey of growth at Grok, and looking for an Assistant Accountant to support the Head of Finance in this newly created role. We don’t just want a good accountant, we want a flexible go-getter who thinks outside the box, and makes things happen.

This role will be hands-on and willing to get stuck into all things Finance at Grok. Day to day, you’ll be responsible for preparation of credit card and employee expense reimbursement, AR/AP, Bank reconciliations. Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.

Documenting financial transactions by entering account information. Preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents. No day is ever the same, but you can always count on the support of a supportive team.

Part-Time, Full-Time, we don’t mind! We can be flexible for the right person with plenty of WFH opportunities, although this position will require some face-to-face interaction with the team in the office.

Our ideal candidate brings tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a combination of relevant training and experience. At least 3 years’ experience as an Accounts Assistant, or willingness to learn. Experience using Xero. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with advanced skills in MS Excel.
