Client seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join a dynamic and high performing team on a contractual basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to the ongoing growth of the business and further develop their career within a thriving company. You will provide crucial support to the accounting department in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records and assisting with year-end.

Your day-to-day provide accurate financial information to the Corporate Finance. Project closing, reconciliation and clean up. Prepare monthly journals. Preparation of bank reconciliations. Preparation of cashflow. Assisting monthly and quarterly BAS for the Finance Manager. Review week payments file. Accounts payable management. Reconciliations.

Who you are you have a degree in Accounting/Finance with up to 2 to 3 years’ experience in accounting/financial management in a service industry. Public relations/marketing communications industry experience is always a plus. You will need to demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
