About the role our Finance Teams are growing and are looking for an experienced accounting professional to work on a full-time basis to add further value to the team. You will assist with providing the business with accurate and timely information, which supports the strategic and operational planning process.

The successful candidate will have over three years of experience in a similar role, with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment. Someone with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.

You new roles reconciliation for AP, AR, bank, and general ledger accounts. Assist with month end close and Balance sheet reconciliation. IRD filing including GST and FBT return. Prepare quarterly budget variance reports with different cost centre. Payroll processing. Statutory reporting and audit. Supporting the wider team as required on ad hoc work and projects.

To be successful in this role, you would ideally have relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance. Over 3 years’ experience in similar role. Xero experience, Workbench experience is beneficial but net necessary.

Be proficient with MS Office applications. Have a proven ability to communicate, verbally and in writing. Organised - proven ability to prioritise work and achieve challenging deadlines. Quality and results-oriented, high attention to detail. Able to work independently and in a team. The right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
