Arms Officer New Zealand Police location Canterbury.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Canterbury Firearms Team as an Arms Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful applicant will join a high performing team who are responsible for administering all aspects of the Arms Act within Canterbury Police District. The Arms Officer role will be predominantly office based in Christchurch based but will involve occasional field work. Applicants must have a current Firearms Licence and be able to demonstrate a good practical knowledge of handling various different firearms. Equally, the successful candidate will be proficient on computer systems and have a keen eye for detail.
